Booking your IELTS test - A step-by-step guide
1. Choose your test type:
Based on your convenience and preference, you can choose between taking an IELTS on Computer or IELTS on Paper.

2. Select Academic or General Training
Your choice depends on why you need IELTS, not your English level.
Academic
For university or college applications and professional registration.
Focuses on academic reading and formal writing.
General Training
For immigration, work, or everyday use.
Focuses on practical, real-life English.

3. Pick a date from the available options
Select a date that gives you enough time to prepare and fits your schedule. Test dates are limited, and seats can fill up quickly.
Once you choose a date and complete your registration, changes are limited, so make sure the date works for you before confirming. Cancellations/transfer policies can be found here.
👉 We recommend booking early to secure your preferred date.
4. Complete the online registration form with your personal and ID information
5. Upload a picture or your ID
Upload a picture of your ID. (The only acceptable documents are:
- Valid passport (any nationality) – must NOT be expired by test day
- Canadian Permanent Resident Card
- Canadian Refugee Claimant Document
6. Pay the test fee to confirm your booking.
Test fees must be paid by credit card during online registration.
If you prefer to pay in cash, you must visit our centre in person.

7. Receive a confirmation email with your test details
After completing your registration, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your test details.
